We are a Grade Six class of 9 children from differing cultures and backgrounds. Our ages range from 11 - 13years old. We are a mix of girls and boys. Many of us have been at this school since we were in Grade 1 but some have arrived from other schools over the years.
This blog is a display of our creative writing, thoughts and feelings, as well as our adventures. We hope you enjoy reading our blog and learning about how we live in Cape Town, South Africa.
Wireless phone poem
ReplyDeleteShocking silence
round my phone -
all these stupid minutes
kicking their way disconsolately
round the hours
battery low
battery low
Can I pretend
there's no dependency?
Touching you, I flow
am live
kisses complete the circuit
Is there no miracle here for you?
My signal, breaking up
goes unheard
You call
I pretend.
